I’ve been revisiting an old map, giving it new life while waiting for the polls to close. It’s moments like these that remind me to pause, take a breath, and truly appreciate how far we’ve come—not just in art, but in life. This map stands as a testament to that journey, to the relentless drive to grow, improve, and push forward in everything we do.

Some of you might even remember when I first released the original version years ago. If you do, I just want to say thank you. Your support has meant the world, and it’s been incredible to share this creative path with you.

So, here’s a side-by-side look at the New vs. the Old. I hope this map finds a place in your game—because really, who doesn’t love a dusty, creaky tavern and inn, nestled in the heart of the desert or rolling plains? There’s something undeniably alluring about escaping the chaos of the world, and my D&D characters certainly agree.

Blackbriar Manor is a sinister, atmospheric TTRPG battlemap that brings to life the eerie remains of a once-grand estate, now crumbling and overrun with decay. The mansion is steeped in a bloody history, haunted by the gruesome murders that took place within its walls. Every creaking floorboard and shattered window adds to the oppressive gloom, with moonlight barely piercing the shadowy, labyrinthine interior.

Players are hired by a paranormal investigator—or a curious alchemist—seeking to uncover the manor’s dark secrets. Their mission: protect their employer from aggressive squatters and unseen dangers. As the party explores the decaying rooms, they’ll encounter hidden passageways, ghostly apparitions, and remnants of the house’s violent past. With threats lurking at every turn, Blackbriar Manor’s deadly history is ever-present, casting a chilling pall over every step.
