The right person doesn’t take from you.
They make sure you never run empty.

People were created to be loved, not used to feed ego or convenience.
Things were created to serve, not to be worshipped.

But we reversed it.. we chase objects for identity,
and treat human hearts as options.

This is where chaos is born.

An awakened mind sees clearly:
use what is temporary,
honor what is alive.

Because when things become more valuable than people,
humanity slowly fades… and so does peace.

And in the end, what you chose to love… defines the life you lived. 🤍🕊

It’s that magical time of year again in Pennsylvania when the state flower begins to bloom right on schedule: fresh orange roadwork. You see the first cones pop up along the shoulder, a few mysterious spray-painted markings appear overnight, and suddenly a perfectly normal road is transformed into a seasonal habitat for lane shifts, rough pavement, and one guy holding a sign like he’s been assigned there for life. Nobody knows exactly what’s being fixed, how long it’ll take, or why the same stretch was “worked on” last year, but that’s not really the point. Spring in Pennsylvania is not measured by robins or daffodils. It’s measured by how many times you say, “Wasn’t this road just closed?”

/ David Hume /
"It is an absurdity to believe that the Deity has human passions, and one of the lowest of human passions, a restless appetite for applause."
"David Hume was a Scottish Enlightenment philosopher, historian, economist, librarian and essayist, who is best known today for his highly influential system of philosophical empiricism, skepticism, and naturalism. Beginning with A Treatise of Human Nature, Hume strove to create a naturalistic science of man that examined the psychological basis of human nature. Hume argued against the existence of innate ideas, positing that all human knowledge derives solely from experience. This places him with Francis Bacon, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, and George Berkeley as a British Empiricist. Hume argued that inductive reasoning and belief in causality cannot be justified rationally; instead, they result from custom and mental habit. We never actually perceive that one event causes another but only experience the "constant conjunction" of events.
