🕹️Here’s a fun date night that’s a little different! Step back into the ’80s and ’90s at Reclaim Arcade in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

This retro arcade is packed with 70+ classic arcade games and pinball machines - plus, they’re ALL set to free play! 🙌

🎟️ Admission is $15 per person and you can play as much as you want for the day. They also offer $5 off admission on Thursdays and before noon on Saturdays!

The whole place is such a fun throwback. You enter through Reclaim Video, an old-school video store filled with VHS tapes and other retro finds, then head into the arcade. There’s even an ’80s-style living room where you can hang out, pop in a VHS and play old-school consoles like Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. 📼🎮

🍔 Make a whole night out of it with food and drinks! They serve smash burgers, loaded fresh-cut fries, fried chicken sandwiches and more, plus a full bar with craft cocktails, b**r, w**e and c***r.

It’s a fun spot for a date night, but you could absolutely bring the kids during the day too!

🌭 It’s the way you cut little crosshairs into the dog first, then put the cheese on em before you take them off the griddle! 😋 It also helps the edges get a little crispy when you grill them. I won’t make them any other way from now on!

Summer’s not over yet!!! Next time you’re at Wegmans Food Markets grab a pack of Zweigle’s hot dogs and make these! The pickle de gallo is a nice addition too.

🐼🥡 There’s a brand-new Panda Express that just opened in Fredericksburg! We stopped by the new on Warrenton Road in Stafford County to check it out and tried their family meal deal!

Some favorites include their Hot Orange Chicken (available for a limited time), the Black Pepper Sirloin Steak, and the String Bean Chicken Breast. For the sides we got Chow Mein and Fried Rice. Then of course had to add in the Chicken Egg Rolls and Cream Cheese Rangoon. 😍

Whether you’re picking up dinner on a busy weeknight or grabbing something everyone in the family can choose from, I love how easy it is to mix and match your favorites!

🐐🛝There’s a brand new brewery with goats and other farm animals and a HUGE farm playground area for kids. Screaming Goats Farm & Brewery is about an hour northwest of Fredericksburg in Amissville - between Culpeper and Warrenton.

🦪🌊 Explore this waterfront town just 1hr from Fredericksburg, here’s how you can spend 24 hours in Tappahannock, Virginia!!

Tappahannock is such a fun little town to visit. If you just want one night away as a couple or family, there are some iconic places to explore - like Virginia’s oldest restaurant, a bed and breakfast was built in 1850, a 22,000 square foot antique store, and tons of riverfront activities like boating, kayaking, parks, and a splash pad - perfect for a slow weekend in a different town.

Here’s everything we squeezed into 24 hours:

🍨🥤Goolricks is opening back up after four years this Friday, August 7th!

Doors open at 11 a.m., with a ribbon cutting just before.

The first 50 people in line get some Goolrick’s merch. After that, regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
