I just finished Rose in Chains by Julie Soto and wow… I’m officially obsessed with this series. 🖤
As the oldest sister of two brothers who always seem to need rescuing (sometimes literally, sometimes just from themselves), I saw so much of myself in Briony—her strength, her protectiveness, that quiet weight of feeling like you have to hold it all together.
And then there’s Toven… perfectly, deliciously morally gray in all the right ways. The tension? The banter? The way you can’t quite decide if you should kiss him or run from him? Yeah, he’s that kind of male lead.
I wish the next book was already on my shelf because I am not ready to leave this world yet. Until then, I’ll be diving into my next read—The Wolf and the Woodsman by Ava Reid.
