Just before 9:10 a.m., Pittsburgh EMS, Fire, and Police were dispatched to a building in the 100 block of 15th St. in the Strip District for reports of a male pinned by a piece of industrial equipment.

Responding units attended to an adult male who had a heavy machine fall on him.

The patient was initially unresponsive when he was extricated from beneath it, but was conscious and alert when Medic 10 transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
