Grabbed breakfast yesterday at .pgh . This lovely little cafe is located in South Side and is a great stop for both breakfast and lunch.

I really enjoy the pancakes here and this time I got the Blanc and Noir pancakes. These pancakes are perfect if you have a sweet tooth since they were topped with Nutella and whipped vanilla bean cream cheese, and choice of strawberries or banana.

If you’re looking for an underrated Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh, add in Sharpsburg to your must-try list. 🇮🇹 🍝 ✨

Located just 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, this cozy spot is truly a hidden gem serving classic Italian comfort food with an intimate vibe. Perfect for date nights or when you want a cozy night out.

We started off our meal with some bread and oil. Not to be dramatic, but I do think this is quite possibly my favorite restaurant bread to date. The focaccia was warm , fresh, and perfectly flaky on top. We got the daily special appetizer, which was a mushroom tortelloni with a truffle sauce.

For our entrees we got the vodka sauce pasta and the saltimbocca (Choice of chicken or veal layered with
prosciutto di Parma and sage, finished in a
brown butter pan sauce. Side of brown butter
and sage cavatelli). Both were very rich and flavorful. The chicken with the saltimbocca was perfectly juicy.

We finished off our meal with the tiramisu and a limoncello cannoli. This place has definitely climbed my rankings into being one of my top Italian restaurants here in Pittsburgh. Highly recommend checking them out!

New year means even more new (to me) restaurants. I’ve been wanting to try out ,located in the Strip District, for a while now and finally made my way down.

I really like the concept of the self serve pour wall, which has beer, wine, ciders, and sangrias. Tapville is also pretty well known for their flights. I got the seasonal Cupid’s cocktail flight.

The flight included:
💘 french kiss- vodka, raspberry, lemon juice, prosecco
💘 love potion #9- white rum, watermelon puree, lime juice, soda
💘 Romeo & Juliet- tequila, pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, tajin
💘 Would you?- vanilla vodka, cocoa di vine, chocolate-covered strawberry

For food we tried the Wisconsin cheddar curds, fish and chips, and the fried chicken sandwich w/ honey butter.

Enjoyed the food, especially the chicken sandwich. Definitely want to come back here again to try their brunch menu!

The weather outside may be frigid, but .pittsburgh has treats for all seasons. Their newest collab with is the perfect treat to warm you up!

This collaboration features 3 oat milk hot chocolates:
☕️ peppermint frost (which is what I got!)
☕️ orange fireside
☕️ original hot chocolate

In addition to these hot chocolates, they also feature a wide variety of teas and desserts . My friend got the rose peach jasmine tea and said it was really good. Meanwhile, we also split the new earl grey crème brûlée cheesecake. Cannot stress enough how good that cheesecake was …seriously try it👏

Tis the season to be drinking 🥂 🎅🏼🎄✨

There’s still another week left before Christmas to fit in a holiday bar crawl. There’s so many good pop ups this year, but I thought I’d share the ones I’ve been to so far this month.

Time to recap the incredible dinner I had last week at in Lawrenceville. Tried several menu items, includes some must haves like the aligot potatoes and the chocolate soufflé.

Started off dinner with some drinks. I had the Poulet Spritz and the Dirty French martini. The martini was good, but I was a little confused by the spritz. It was good, but idk for some reason I was expecting it to be sweeter or more fruity. Probably just me not understanding the menu items tbh.

We got the oxtail and the baguette for starters. The oxtail was very tender and flavorful. For a main, I got the roasted duck which was incredible. Everyone else at the table seemed to really enjoy the dishes they got as well (halibut and poulet rôti).

Finished off dinner with their famous chocolate soufflé. While the soufflé was good, I do think it is a bit overhyped. I think next time I’d like to try a different dessert option.

Tried a spot I’ve been wanting to try for a while. Huge thanks to .relay and for the opportunity to come in and try some of the menu!

The menu was a mix of sweet + savory items. We got the tomato burrata toast which was fresh and delicious . The PB bowl was filling without being too heavy; I really enjoyed the granola they used.

Drink-wise, the salted peppermint mocha iced latte was festive, and the orange spice latte was surprisingly cozy with a subtle citrus note that worked really well. We also grabbed two bottled juices to go, which I’m excited to try.

Overall it’s great spot for a lighter brunch or coffee stop. Would definitely come back to try more of the toast options.
