Thanks to / for taking the photo that ended up being the cover for the single!

We all met up on a very chilly day to take a few photos for the project, and one of the cameras was a disposable camera that ended up yielding some sort of haunted, grainy results.

A lot of great regular photos came out of the experience too, though! (Slide 2)

I had an idea I was sort of messing with involving an overhead projector and salt (slide 3), but when I saw that photo I just thought it was perfectly fitting for the track. Just like with the recording process, you can’t really plan for the flaws/mistakes that you’ll end up liking. You just have to show up and try some things out.

I find a lot of inspiration in Ana’s work and general vibe, and I found myself revisiting their projects a lot while I was mixing new material over the past few months. Whether you’re familiar or not, give it a read!
