The Exposition

The Exposition The Exposition is a music magazine created by and for the musicians of Berkshire County and anyone e

Earlier this year, I realized that I've been playing in bands for a couple years in Berkshire County, and there were bands or shows that I had yet to hear of. What good is it if I'm playing shows and trying to be part of the "music community" if I don't even know the band playing down the street, or haven't heard of a show in the next town over? On top of that, there's virtually no press for local

bands, save for the occasional write up in a county newspaper or gazette. The Exposition was created for the musician community of the Berkshires, the surrounding areas, and for the fans and supporters of those musicians. If you see a blog post or read the magazine and don't see a band represented, a show that didn't get reviewed, or anything you think should be changed or added, tell us!

It’s an ambitious album, front to back. Big on ideas long on ex*****on is not just the newest trend in music but a paradigm shift, and Wes Buckley is proudly heralding it in as a troubadour.

If you’re new to Yowie, or math rock, or trying, then you’re not going to want to listen to this album to relax. It’s plan-in-action music, it’s caffinated and eerie.

Because the staff here at DWP are so akin to DIY and independent art, I wanted my first article to celebrate that culture in some way.

Wow, what a show last night! Hill Haints played with an awesome band from Italy called Underdog! I highly suggest you go check them out at Alan Monasch/Maple Cap/Petrichor/Underdog(Italy)in North Adams. If you're in the area and want to catch even more music, see Sounds and Tones Presents- The Leafies You Gave Me, The Duskwhales (DC) Francesca Shanks and The Mighty Atom! Meanwhile, the Haints are on to Southbridge today for Durt Dog // Charles // Greed Island // Hills Haints. There's no excuse to not see an awesome show tonight in B.C.!
