Tiger Inbound! P-40 Warhawk Low, Loud, and Close! During the events of December 7, several pilots were able to get off the ground and bring the fight to the Imperial Japanese Navy invading forces. One such plane airborne was the P-40, made famous by the Flying Tigers. While the P-40s at Pearl Harbor were earlier versions than this one, it still serves a fitting tribute.

Zero Hour: Mitsubishi A6M-2 Zero Crusing By At Sunset. Imagine on this date 84 years ago, December 7, 1941 as the sun rises over the Hawaiian islands, a massive formation of countless D3A1 ‘Val’ dive bombers, and B5N ‘Kate’ torpedo bombers and these A6M Zero fighters descends on the islands, about to unleash hell on the unsuspecting servicemen and residents at Pearl Harbor. The day of infamy we will never forget, that triggered US response and industrial might on a massive scale to bring about the end of the Axis powers. Today we remember all who bravely fought and those lost on this day 84 years ago. Never forget.

Not exactly the best image quality as it’s from 2018 and an iPhone 6 video, but there’s still a Rolls Royce/ Packard Merlin humming along in there so it’s still post worthy. Heritage Flight magic at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh for your Saturday ✈️ The P-51 Mustang ‘Happy Jack’s Go Buggy’ teams up with the F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning II, and A-10 Thunderbolt II for a stunning formation pass that bridges aviation history and modern airpower. This was 2024 the final year for the A-10 demo team.

Whistling Mustang! P-51D Mustang ‘Cincinnati Miss’ Cruising into the show box at Warbirds Over Monroe. This Mustang belongs to the Tri State Warbird Museum, I had last seen it fly in 2012 so it was great to see it again in 2025.

T-6 Texan Dives Into the Box for Aileron Rolls with Thom Richard at the Controls. I don’t know about you but I personally have never seen a T-6/SNJ roll this quick! Well quick for a T-6, bit crazy impressive! Not to mention that beautiful sound!

The Swallow Returns! ME-262A-1 Replica In Action over Charlotte - Monroe, North Carolina. The engines are new CJ-610s for safety along with newer avionics, everything else built off the original German blueprints including performance to be as close to original as possible. Wow is it incredible to see this WWII fighter’s unmistakable and iconic shape grace the skies again.

Some planes have a sound that you just know as soon as you hear it…like this one. 😎 When you just need a good, loud radial engine, nothing beats the sound of a T-28 Trojan on a low, powerful pass. Pure radial magic. ✈️✨

Did you know next season 2026, Randy and his team at FighterJets Inc are adding more Vietnam era planes to their roster? TA-4 Skyhawk, F-100 Super Sabre, and even the beastly legend the F-4 Phantom II will be joining the MiGs at select show sites! 🤯 going to be a fun year!
