Most mornings look the same for us… clothes, teeth, lunch, double-checking his backpack, talking him through the day. These little routines might seem simple, but for us, they’re everything. As a mom to an autistic child, I’m always thinking one step ahead finding ways to make his world feel safe, calm, and predictable.
There’s so much love in these quiet moments: watching him run around outside before the bus comes, seeing the excitement on his face, feeling that mix of pride and worry only a caregiver truly understands.
This National Caregivers Month, I’m sending love to every parent who holds it all together the planners, the protectors, the patient ones, the strong ones. You’re doing more than you know, and you deserve to be seen.” 🤍✨
