Back when my husband and I got married, I was barely 165lbs.
And still, I struggled to get naked in front of him.

What if he judged me? What if he saw what I couldn’t stop picking apart?

Fast forward: 4 kids, kidney disease, lupus, 6 months of steroids later... and I’m sitting at 230lbs.

And guess what? I get naked for that man all the time now. 😏

What changed?
Me.
The way I talk to myself.

The way I realized I don’t have to love every inch of me to appreciate the hell out of what my body’s carried me through.
The way I stopped letting fat—or fear—rob me of intimacy, connection, and joy.

Fat is not a character flaw.
It’s a thing. Some people have more, some people have less.
It doesn’t get to define me anymore.
