The Supreme Court on Friday voted 6-3 to limit federal judges' ability to block nationwide enforcement of executive orders, including getting rid of birthright citizenship, but the justices made clear they won't decide on the constitutionality of the president's executive order itself.
The executive order was appealed on an "emergency basis" to the Supreme Court after three separate federal district court judges issued nationwide injunctions.
