⢠Very low property crime: Only 14.7 property crimes per 1,000 residents, placing Plano near the top of all large cities.
⢠Low traffic fatality rate: 6.9 deaths per 100,000 residents, another key factor in the cityās strong safety score.
⢠A true community effort: This recognition reflects the work of the Plano Police Department, engaged residents, city leadership, first responders, and our many community partners.

While statistics tell part of the story, the real credit goes to the people who call Plano home. Safety is a community effort and something we build together every day. It reflects the daily work of our officers, the trust and partnership we share with residents, and the way neighbors look out for one another.
