Fantastic idea!
What are you doing the day after Thanksgiving? Our club members don't go shopping... we go diving! Join us for Blue Friday 5.0 on Friday, November 28th.
Through our contacts, divers in dozens of countries on four continents will be getting wet in:
• Point Lobos, Carmel, California, with members of Marin Scuba Club and the Dive Club of Silicon Valley
• The Big Island of Hawai'i with Kerwin Louis and Jack's Dive Locker
• Sun Divers Roatan will host a "Dive Against Debris" at its PADI Adopt the Blue dive site, followed by a beach clean-up
• Amigos del Mar in Mahahual, Mexico, will take drift divers in the Western Caribbean
• Dive-Queensland in the Coral Sea and DivePlanit Dive Travel in Australia
• DivePacific.co.nz and the New Zealand Underwater Association (NZUA)
• Palau through NECO Marine and the Black Pearl
• High Plains Scuba Center in Fort Collins, Colorado, will take divers in a lake
• The Chicago Underseas Explorer Society will have some members take a dip in a high school pool
• Jami Leslie Feldman ( ) will dive in San Diego
• Author Jeff Bozanic will dive in CA or FL
• Author Carlos Lander will dive at Chichiriviche de la Costa in Venezuela
• Service Manager Sameer Chettri will jump into the United Arab Emirates’ warm water
• NAUI Worldwide, PADI, and CORAL.org will participate
• Finally, Marin Scuba Club, Sun Divers Roatan, Green Fins, and The Reef World Foundation have formed an alliance to ask that Green Fins’ 1,,500 dive operators worldwide participate this year.
