*There has not been a recent school shooting that I am aware of. If I could change the thumbnail, I would. School shootings are one situation that the TECRT, Texas Emergency Crisis Response Team, assist with.

Volunteers are needed to be interviewed during a Mock FBI Critical Incident on the following dates times and places by the Texas Emergency Crisis Response Team. Volunteers will be given a detailed description of character that you are portraying as a survivor witnessing the incident.
With this information, you will be interviewed by a crisis worker and answer their questions. This gives the crisis worker experience working with survivors of traumatic events. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and it will be very helpful.

Yesterday was the screening of the movie.

Being a supporter of nonprofits, I was surprised at how my thought process regarding their funding was inaccurate based on what I learned from the media.

This movie turned that around.

One TED Talk changed things for so many.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth watching. Especially if you’re involved with giving back.

When we recorded Darrell Rodenbaugh with North Texas Performing Arts last year, Friedo told us that he had never seen a play.

He was a sports fan to the core, and he had zero interest in theater.

I don’t know about Darrell, but I was surprised. Watching plays is one of my favorite things to do!
