Ideas' humble beginnings was a garage-turned-recording studio created by SIPG's president and founder, Doug Thompson. Remaining true to their roots, Sound Ideas still offers top of the line recording services with its Russ Berger-designed studio in Carrollton, Texas. The studio is a fully equipped Protools-driven suite with unlimited tracking capabilities, retaining a relaxing atmosphere where your creative ideas can be realized. Sound Ideas Production Group is now something much larger than just one man behind a mixer. It is a whole group of professionals, each of whom is dedicated to providing the best audio, video, lighting, and production, with special attention to overall ambiance and detail, for your next meeting or show. No matter how large or small the event, we specialize in ALL audio/visual support and also have a wide range of rental audio/visual equipment available. What a special night with ChristianWorks for Children at their 36th Annual Celebrate the Children Dinner & Auction, hosted at the Omni Hotels & Resorts.

This year’s Alice in Wonderland–themed gala came to life through a storybook-inspired AV design featuring two 20-foot screens and a 44-foot c*c backdrop with 40K projectors.

From heartfelt speeches to live entertainment from Tim Hawkins, every moment was intentional. Even with a same-day load-in, our team finished ahead of schedule to help create a truly magical evening.

When it comes to keeping shows running, Marcelo is one of the best in the business. With years of experience leading crews and ensuring every detail comes together, he knows how to turn complex productions into memorable moments.

When we asked Marcelo about his favorite show to work on, he couldn’t pick just one: “Dang, that’s a hard one… Producing my TV shows and bringing the Bible to 2.3 million viewers is pretty amazing… but I also think running shows like the American Music Awards and Amazon’s AWS Festival are also really high up there.”
