Strong to severe storms are possible near and along a front/dryline on Monday. Damaging winds, tornadoes, hail, and localized flooding will all be possible, particularly near and east of I-35. Make sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings and stay weather aware!

National Preparedness Month Topic #4 for today: Hail is chunks of ice falling from high up in the thunderstorm. It will sting, injure or worse if you stay outside during a hail storm. Seek shelter inside, away from windows, and wait until after the storm has safely passed before venturing outside to look at the hail. Here are some tips on how to properly measure and report hail to the National Weather Service.
