Save the date for this amazing event in Downtown Plano! The Plano Art Drop Day is going on for TWO days this year. Hope you can swing by and find some art.

Save the Dates! This Thursday and Friday (September 5 & 6), is Downtown Plano Art Drop Day! This event is a scavenger hunt where artists leave a piece of original artwork for someone else to find!

This year, I helped our Second Chance SPCA rescue dog, Tito, make a painting to help raise awareness of this lovable no-kill shelter close to Downtown Plano Arts District!

Will you be lucky enough to find his masterpiece? 🎨

We have found the BEST Tibetan Lamb in Plano! 🤤 Head over to Taizong Sichuan Cuisine at 15th and Custer for the best lamb and potato dish you’ve ever had. This dish is not for the weak as it is nice and spicy! 🔥 If spice isn’t your thing, Taizong also has fantastic soup dumplings, duck, and chicken hot pot. Pair with a glass of wine or beer and you’re in for a great evening.

Have you been to the new at ? 🐟 The new spot is a few doors down from the old location but bigger and brighter than ever! The new spot features a big bar, oyster bar, and restaurant seating in a bright and coastal setting. Don’t worry, the specials are still delicious! Head over for some oysters, cocktails, and fun times today.

Who wants skewers?! 🍢 Friendship BBQ at Legacy and Chase Oaks Blvd. serves up a variety of skewers, has so many sides to chose from, and has a bar with beer and sake!

We tried the chicken, beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, and intestine skewers with a side of ramen and a few Asahi beers.

Check it out for a fun meal and a cool experience!

You don’t need to travel to Austria for Schweinshaxn, Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Beer!

Jörg’s Cafe Vienna is located in Downtown Plano. Since 2002, Jörg’s has been serving up authentic Austrian cuisine in a warm and festive atmosphere.

We recommend so much on the menu! Here’s what we tried:

1. To Start
Liptauer Teller
Warm Pretzels Served with liptauer Cheese, a Traditional Southern Austrian Cheese Spread with Paprika and Herbs.

2. Perfect for lunch
Hühner (Chicken) Wienerschnitzel
Hand Breaded Chicken Cutlet(s), Lightly Fried and Served with Austrian Potato Salad.

3. Dinner - Call ahead for reservations for this culinary delight!
Schweinshaxn
Roasted ham hock, carrots, potatoes, dumplings, sauerkraut, cabbage, and gravy.

4. Beer!

Who loves seafood? 🦀🐟🦐 We do! If you do too then head over to Urban Seafood in downtown Plano to enjoy some fresh seafood or to shop the market and take it to go!

We love that the specials change often and the oysters are fresh and interesting. Add on crab or lobster to any plate and if you’re feeling fancy, try the caviar!

Parking is abundant around the restaurant but don’t park in any resident spots.

The restaurant is perfect for dates, parties, and more.

Snacks on the patio at the Fillmore Pub in downtown Plano is a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We love the sliders, the cheeseboard, and the hummus plate. Swing by today and grab a beer and enjoy the chill vibe of downtown.
