Happy Memorial Day Weekend.
Let's all take at least a minute to remember someone who has sacrificed so much to keep us comfortable. Maybe give a call to an old friend and say thanks.

We all love to keep our guns clean. Superior Gun Care has a great deep clean and l**e process. We are always here for ya. Sometimes though you just need to pull a bore snake thru and keep shooting until your next trip to see us.
When using a bore snake make sure you have the right caliber and don't try to add any patches to your rope or you just might get it stuck.
Every now and then we get a firearm with a bore snake stuck in the barrel and they can be a bear to get them out when the tail end is pulled completely in and you can't pull it back out.
We had a customer bring one in recently. Everything he tried failed. He took to other shops and they turned him away. Then someone directed him to our shop.
I checked it out. did some brainstorming and got it right out. Here is the remainder. He had cut the rest of the rope off as part of his problem solving, but that did not deter.
Customer is happy as can be. We love a satisfied customer.

At Superior Gun Care, we have had enough with inflation and we are fighting back.
Over the past year we have all watched the price of goods and services rise and rise some more. The cost of feeding the family and paying the bills is leaving little room for our hobbies and pleasures,
We raised our prices after the first of the year just like most businesses, but that did not stop inflation from growing more. We have had enough and have lowered our prices for our premium Ultrasonic Clean and L**e services to 2020 prices.
Handguns $55
Most Rifles and Shotguns $60
Lever Action and AR style rifles $70
If you have been putting off getting your guns cleaned and ready for the hunt, now is the time to bring them in.

So many people out there, are inheriting fi****ms from parents and grandparents and they are not sure of the first thing to do with them. Some of those haven't been fired and decades and they are unsure if they are safe to use. if you bring them in to us, we will perform our Ultrasonic Clean and L**e process which includes a thorough function and safety inspection. We find that most of the inherited fi****ms that come in are perfectly functional, but if they are missing parts or in of need repair we can help with that. If it is not safe to fire, we will tell you that also.

We at Superior Gun Care want to make it affordable again to get those fi****ms cleaned and ready to shot at the range or in the field. We look forward to seeing you.

One of the rules on handling guns is to never hand anyone a loaded gun, an exception is when you are afield and loading a gun for someone who is following your instructions. But never bring a loaded firearm into stores or gun shops.
Another part of that rule is that when ever someone hands you a gun, even if they say it is unloaded, check it yourself. With semi-auto pistols, you simply drop the magazine and pull the slide back to see if there is a round in the chamber. With rifles open the bolt, with revolvers, open the cylinder.
Some people think that having a fully loaded magazine in their gun but no round in the chamber is OK. But if I take the gun and pull back the slide to check without removing the magazine, I have just loaded the gun.
Never bring a gun into a gun store with ammo in the chamber or in the loaded magazine. If you are bringing in a carry weapon for repair, cleaning etc, advise the staff that you want to pull it out for inspection and unload before handing it over.

We have a gallon jar, half full of ammo from all the people who failed to follow these basic safety rules. It is for the safety of everyone.
