We can go home now. We met the king of indie horror himself, John Carpenter. We were expecting - near hopeful - that he would tell us to f**k off or flip us off. But behind the rock n roll demeanor, he was the nicest person to chat with.

John, thank you for being the guiding light for us indie flmmakers and showing the world how essential the horror genre is. May your legacy live on forever.

We are excited to announce that Death Lake Productions will be at The Industry in Plant City attending their Indie Film Showcase Halloween Special on October 30th at 9pm. We'll be playing some of our shorts along with other talented filmmakers in the central Florida area.

If you are a filmmaker or know anyone who is and would like to submit your spooky film, entries are still open and can be submitted to [email protected] with the subject line SHOWCASE SUBMISSION and paste the link to your film in the email. We can't wait to see everyone there!
