ARTISTS & BUSINESS OWNERS!!! - Nick and I have a dream of bringing a less restrictive, community focused, commercial free rocking radio station to the Lake Champlain area and beyond, HOWEVER these things cost money....
SO we need your help.
On Friday, June 26th at 8pm, we will be hosting a 90s themed party at Peabody's in Plattsburgh in hopes to collect enough financial contributions to cover our initial costs.
If you are able to help support us with a donation from your business or some of your artwork or services we will gratefully add you to our list of "foundation supporters" and feature your business on social media and during our live broadcasts.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to me (Amanda) on social media or you can email me [email protected]
-Please spread the word and help us make this dream come true.

Big news here today at Electric Zee!

At 1 PM this Sunday afternoon, I'll be attempting to go live on my YouTube channel.

I'll post a link a little later on when I'm at my computer.

But we have a lot of catching up to do on the air, and it would mean the world to me if you would listen.

Photo for attention: me DJing my 7th Birthday Garfield themed birthday party, where it all began back in 1984.

For many years, WIRY 1340, the beloved North Country AM radio station would broadcast "Letters to Santa" so all the boys and girls could hear Santa read their letters via his very short wave radio.

Back in April, WIRY signed off for good, meaning that very short wave radio connection was no longer active at the North Poll.

Because I (Amanda Dagley) was once the radio operator for that very short wave radio, I decided to see if I could make contact with the Jolly Old Elf and what do you know, it worked!

Here's our conversation!

I got to thinkin' the other day (when I am not talking a lot, I'm thinking a lot) about how now that WIRY is closed, how will Santa communicate via his very short wave radio to the children of the No Co (and beyond!)

So, I did what my Ma taught me to do way back when I was a kid: I wrote a letter, burned it in the cook stove, and hoped the wind would carry my message to Ol' Saint Nick and he'd reply.

Wouldn't you know, he did! Of course he did, because he's Santa Claus!

Just a word of caution: I'm a grown-up and that's why I chose to send my letter to Santa through smoke. I'll soon have a safer way for the little ones to get me their letters.

As with most things these days, it does cost money to organize this kind of thing. I reached out to my pals at New-Plattsburgh Sourdough Co to see if we could work together to bring this hometown tradition back to life and they agreed to be our lead sponsor!

If you are a small business who would like to sponsor the program, please reach out to me: [email protected].

If you are a musician who would like to send
your original or public domain Christmas music, to be used on the show, please use that same email.

Once we get a little feedback on whether or not there is interest in the program, I'll share the ways you can get your letter to me so I can send them to Santa at the North Pole to be read online at the Electric Zee YouTube page.

Merry Christmas from Electric Zee and Plattsburgh Sourdough Co.!

After a year and a half, I can finally say that the first episode of "Tales from the Zeeborhood" is finally live on my website!

I extend all my gratitude and respect for Teddy Chan of China Cafe for not only recording this with me in the summer of 2024, but for being so patient with me in the time it took to bring this episode finally to life.

It's a really great interview/conversation and I am very proud.

I hope you enjoy!

PS: I'm recording the second episode tonight (Friday!)

Hey friends! Long time no update! Shortly after unveiling the new website, I had a catastrophic computer failure and my laptop died. After a month, I got word that the computer was not able to be repaired, but I should be able to hopefully recover my data. I bought a new machine and I was cautiously...

Hey everyone!

On Wednesday, I'll be releasing a new State of the Zeeborhood Address.

I'd be lying if I said I am doing alright at the moment, but I am nothing if not determined and stubborn.

However, I'm hopeful with Wednesday's announcement, things will be a little less grim here in Captain's chair on the bridge of the SS Zeeborverse.

I'm pleased to announce the very first episode of "Tales from the Zeeborhood" has been recorded and will be released in July!

I am very grateful for Teddy Chan of China Cafe who took time to sit down with me. I'm also very grateful to the folks at Old Soul Design Shop Inc for coming in early and letting me use their space to record.
