A couple of things:

Rest in peace, Bob Weir. You were always my favorite.

Yesterday also marked ten years since David Bowie passed away.

I'm working on releasing something I recorded back in 2019 that's Bowie related.

If it works, I'll post a link this week.

In the meantime, here's a photo from the David Bowie costume contest back in 2016, that was hosted by Higher Ground. I was going for the Thin White Duke era.

Albert's been my pal for a little over 10 years now and every time I pull out this sweater, I think of him.

The Cat Distribution System brought him into my life around Thanksgiving 2015.

That year was a big year of change and it was cold. It was cold and I wore this sweater a lot while moving to a new place in the middle of the cold weather.

The first time I met Albert, I picked him up and he climbed this sweater. It's a good thing it's so thick, because you know how sharp kitten claws can be.

I think he associates this sweater with safety and comfort, because just a few weeks after we met, he decided to sleep on the sweater as soon as I took it off. (See second photo.)

It's a real feel of -4 today, so I pulled out the sweater to see if he remembers.

I think he does, because he climbed all over me this morning!

(Sweater is hand knit by a Susan Barlow as stated on the personalized tag still holding on in the back. I thrifted this back in the good old days of thrifting._

It's the first full moon of the year, the full Wolf Moon.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, this full moon is also a Super moon and it reached its peak illumination at 5:04 AM EST.

Howliing in my bathroom because it's slippery outside and I'm also roasting vegetables in the oven. Plus,my bathroom looks pretty cool.

I asked if you still wanted howl videos and you said yes, so I'll continue them for the next year.

Fully embracing the 12 Days of Christmas this year. That means I've been spreading out the holiday foods I intended to make/consume.

I made crockpot Chex mix yesterday and today I'm having some soy nog with one of this year's Christmas thrifted misfits.

I like them so much that they'll be up in the kitchen all year.

My new year celebrations began at around 215 after I secured egg rolls and fortune cookies for my NYE tradition from at China Cafe.

I always have to eat one in the car but I got extra for later.

I haven't opened my cookie yet, but I'll let you know my fortune later, maybe.

For many years, I read O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi" at the Kent Delord House Museum for their annual Christmas event.

After missing doing it, I decided to record it for everyone during the first pandemic Christmas, making it five years since I recorded it.
