This is not a pretty picture.

It took forever to make, for as unappealing as it might appear.

However, my house smells wonderful and with today's drizzly weather, tucking into a bowl of this will be what I needed to warm my bones.

But this caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and aged cheddar soup is one of the best soups I think I've ever made.

I'm outta bread, so I toasted some sweet and salty pecans and walnuts for a little bit of topping pizzazz.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, September’s Harvest Moon reached peak illumination, this afternoon, Saturday, September 26th, at 12:49 PM, EST.

This is my second favorite full moon of the year, right after the Pink Moon of April.

I've had a very busy day today, so here's a quiet howl in my PJs.
