I had an absolutely awesome time at Peabody's last night!

I'm bummed that I missed , but I caught , , and .

This show was exactly what I needed: great music made by friends played to a smiling crowd of friends.

I smiled so much and even cried a little when Model 97 covered "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World."

Thank you to all the bands, and extra thanks to Tsunamibots for coming to the Burgh. Thank you to Peabody's for creating such a safe and fun space for us to all to keep on rocking in the free world.

30 years ago this month, I graduated from high school.

I can't remember the date, but in honor of AVCS having their graduation tonight, I figured I would share this.

I borrowed "Attack of the Killer B's" from my friend Bergie and dubbed my favorite songs, including this track.

Sorry Anthrax. I was a poor teenager in Northern NY. But my sister bought a bunch of your tapes, so I hope that evens things out.

Wow.

Thank you to Matt Lawfer of ABC22 & FOX44 for the touching piece on WIRY this evening.

I started to cry the minute I saw Matt in front of the Gordie Little Bridge sign.

Fun WIRY history moment: the stage PA died the day of the bridge dedication, during our live remote broadcast. If my memory is correct, I was able to fiddle around with it a bit and we were able to get it going. I'm not exactly sure what I did to help, I just remember doing something.

If you ask me, I think the temporary technical difficulty was a heavenly wink from Gordie Little himself.

I've yet to write my stories about the ol' girl. I guess I'm still not ready.

I will someday, I promise.

15 year old me can't believe we met Trevor Dunn from Mr. Bungle, much less had a conversation with him about all kinds of stuff, including radio.

Thank you for your time after the gig, Trevor. I talk a lot normally, but even more when I'm nervous, which I most certainly was.

33 years since getting that 8x10 autograph in the mail.

Happy belated World Goth Day (also Morrissey's birthday.)

I was down with a wicked headache so I slept through the whole thing and didn't get to make a post.

I might not always look Goth these days, I'm still Goth in my soul.

I've been listening to a lot of Alan Parsons Project recently.

Me and APP go way back. The 3rd 45 I ever bought was "Games People Play."

But over the last year or so, I have been drawn to "Time."

Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but the lyrics mean so much more to me these days.
