Listening to the iconic stories of blatant racism that was experienced, directly from the mouths of African American MLB Superstars is humbling. Being called ‘Nigger’ from Bull Connor’s troops….If it weren’t for great white friends, great white managers, and great white families that risked their own lives, we would have never known anything about Willie Mays, Jackie Robinson, Josh Gibson, Hank Aaron and Buck Leonard’s gifts. As like me, they had a violent temperament once provoked, and their true white friends had to get involved in order protect these men from being hung from oak trees.
These stories should not be hidden, overwritten, ignored, nor dismantled from our educational system. Instead, we must learn to recognize TRUTH in history and discuss errors made that have created severe levels of ignorance.
Healing only begins once we acknowledge the injury. Failure to do so will continue to make our entire society LIMP. 🖤

Somebody needs to hear this:
Stop chasing people and employers that don’t want you nor appreciate you. Being surprised with the results shouldn’t leave you dumbfounded. You allowed someone or something to control your life and they played you. Take your “L” and LEARN!
Imagine if you spent more time chasing yourself and making YOU 🫵happy. Where would you be today? Take control of your destiny!
