I’m a little late this week!
Kyotee Kookers went over to Jourdanton and cooked the 36th annual VFD cookoff. We had a good day and turned in some solid proteins.
4th chicken
5th Prairie Fresh ribs
9th pork
4th Peeler Farms brisket
For a 7th overall finish

The highlight was watching my sister & brother in law win their first Reserve Grand Championship! They’ve been grinding steady for the past couple maybe even 3 years and it’s finally paying off!! I couldn’t cheer louder for them!!

Orlando Carrasco also had a great day winning a buckle and 4 calls as well!

Congratulations to my favorite German Uwe Braun and BeerBelly bbq on his Grand Champion!

All in all a great day for comp bbq!
Laura Louise with Champions Barbecue Alliance ran a great judging area as well!
