Every so often, you meet an operator whose path into vending reflects a larger shift happening in the workforce. Matt Morrison, founder of Vend Colorado, didn’t grow up in the vending industry. He spent more than a decade in software sales before deciding to build something of his own. What makes his story particularly interesting is when it began.

Matt launched Vend Colorado while on paternity leave after the birth of his second child in 2024. At a time when many professionals were watching layoffs ripple through the tech sector, he was looking for a business that offered stability, recurring revenue, and something increasingly valuable: control.

Just two years later, he’s building a growing unattended retail operation throughout the Denver market, focused on smart coolers, apartment communities, and technology-driven convenience.

Nayax Ltd, a global commerce payments and loyalty platform designed to help merchants scale their business, recently announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026.

“We had an excellent start to 2026, with strong operational and financial results across the business. We continued to scale our platform, expand our installed base, and drive transaction activity, all of which reinforces the more predictable and profitable recurring revenue contribution to our business. Revenue grew 32% to $107 million, with organic revenue growth of 26%. Furthermore, Adjusted EBITDA grew 43% year-over-year, expanding to 13% of revenue. This quarter we crossed an important milestone, with our installed base surpassing 1.5 million devices and our customer base reaching 120,000. The more customers we onboard, the more devices they buy, the more transactions flow through our platform, and the more our recurring revenue compounds- It’s clear that our growth algorithm is working, and we are well-positioned to capture the opportunities ahead,” commented Yair Nechmad, Nayax Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board in a recent press release.

Hershey's Kisses is teaming up once again with Pokémon for a new special-edition collection — and this year, things are getting a little villainous.

In celebration of 30 years of Pokémon, fans can collect 151 Poké Ball foil designs along with 10 new Team Rocket-inspired foils, creating Hershey’s most expansive Pokémon collection yet. The limited-time collaboration introduces a new narrative-driven experience centered around Team Rocket’s mission to steal every Hershey’s Kisses foil design — and they are making their plans known across social media.
