This large format digital film will follow the daily dramas of common animals - like the blue jay, field mouse, wood duck, raccoon and tiger swallowtail butterfly - juxtaposed w

ith the activities of nearby humans more concerned with their computer screens, mobile devices, and the endless pursuit of money and status. The film will tell the story of our disconnect with nature, with the aim of inspiring a new and transformative connection. We have recently completed a documentary, "Disturbing the Peace," which follows a group called Combatants for Peace, founded by former Israeli and Palestinian combatants who have laid down their weapons and embraced non-violent activism to end the conflict in the Middle East. The film focuses on a handful of members from both sides, and traces their transformational journeys from soldiers committed to armed confrontation to non-violent peace activists. We are also developing a number of other projects including JULIE OF THE WOLVES, a fiction film set in the Arctic based on Jean Craighead George's classic book.

Our 3D IMAX film narrated by Michael Keaton “Wings Over Water” is reaching theaters all over China! After its 2022 win of ‘Best Scientific Communication Film’ at the Beijing International Film Festival, it is now playing at five science centers across China, including China Science and Technology Center, Guangdong Science Center, Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum, Anhui Science and Technology Museum, and Jiangxi Science and Technology Museum. Through these international screenings, Wings Over Water connects global audiences and bridges cultures, highlighting the shared responsibility to protect and conserve our natural world.

This we’d like to share 8 year old Ahlir’s story. Living in inner city Philadelphia, Ahlir has little access to safe nature spaces, and also struggles with ADHD. With the help of the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society, an abandoned lot alongside his home is being turned into a vibrant neighborhood park. Soon, Ahlir and will have a place to play, explore, and experience the healing power of nature.

Ahlir’s journey is at the heart of our upcoming feature documentary “Inner Nature.” In Philadelphia cities where vacant lots have been greened, researchers have observed a 29% drop in gun violence, along with significant reductions in depression and other mental health struggles.

We’re out shooting today for our short documentary “The Little Town That Could,” about how the Village of Croton on Hudson achieved the #1 clean energy community status in NY state.
We are at Leatherwood Design Co with Croton100 volunteers, an organization that works to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and promote clean energy solutions! They are beginning to design and sew the 3rd original quilt commemorating the growing number of neighbors, businesses, and municipal efforts to decarbonize!

Croton100's "Decarbonizer Bunny" encourages household decarbonization through their amazing climate action quilt project in which each household that contributes to decarbonization through heat pumps, electric vehicles, etc. is featured on a square!

We are working with them on an upcoming short film chronicling this inspirational movement.
