ILLEGAL ALIENS DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE? My office has issued an official opinion clarifying that law enforcement officers have the authority to arrest and detain individuals, including illegal aliens, who are caught driving without a valid driver’s license. The opinion, requested by Jackson County Prosecutor Jeff Chalfant, addresses a critical public safety issue amid growing concerns about illegal immigration and its impact on Indiana’s roads. Hoosiers deserve safe streets, and that starts with ensuring those who break our laws face consequences. This opinion gives our law enforcement guidance to hold accountable anyone, especially illegal aliens, driving without a license, a crime that puts our communities at risk.

It's been a quarter of a century since the state of Indiana hosted an NBA Finals game.
Tonight Indianapolis will be the epicenter of basketball when the Indiana Pacers play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
This is a big one.
The series is tied 1-1, and since the Pacers split the two games in OKC, they now have homecourt advantage.
Will the Pacers hold serve at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and take a 2-1 lead or will the Thunder regain homecourt advantage with a victory?
