Today we stopped by Elephant Ear Books to pick up our Find Waldo Local passport and began searching for tiny Waldos hidden inside local businesses throughout Downtown Plymouth.

Every time you find Waldo, you earn another stamp on your card!

What surprised us most wasn’t just finding Waldo—it was discovering amazing small businesses we’d walked past for years but had never explored. We found unique shops, grabbed some yummy treats, and turned an ordinary afternoon into a memory we’ll definitely remember.

We’ll be hunting for Waldo all month long and can’t wait to see if we can fill our passport before July 31!

This might be our favorite indoor play space we’ve ever visited! ✨

We were so excited when our sweet friend Winnie invited us to spend the day at Imagination Station, and it did not disappoint. From imaginative pretend play to hands-on crafts and endless exploring, the girls stayed busy, laughed nonstop, and made the sweetest summer memories together.

When the temperatures climb, finding fun ways for kids to burn off energy indoors is a total win. Air-conditioned adventures like this are perfect for keeping little ones active, creative, and engaged while escaping the summer heat.

These little adventures are quickly becoming some of our favorite family memories, and we’re so grateful we get to share them with you. ❤️ I hope you’ll follow along as Josie continues discovering fun places, hidden gems, and kid-friendly adventures all summer long!

One of our favorite Father’s Day memories this year 💙

We celebrated Dad by making colorful tie-dye shirts together, and now we’ll have matching memories we can actually wear all summer long! 🌈👕

Everything we needed came from our local Michaels craft store, making this such an easy and affordable family activity. Sometimes the best adventures happen right around the corner—with a little creativity, lots of color, and the people you love most.

🎡 Carnival season is officially here! 🎢🍿🎟️

One of our favorite summer traditions is visiting Michigan carnivals and festivals. We try to make it to at least two every summer, and while we’ve been to quite a few… we definitely have our favorites! ❤️

From thrilling rides and classic carnival games to funhouses, roller coasters, animals to see, elephant ears to eat, and fresh lemonade to drink, there’s just something magical about a summer night at the fair!

This adventure took us to the Livonia Spree, and it did not disappoint! 🎠✨

📚🌿 Storytime among the flowers, fresh air, and friendly faces.

One of our favorite adventures is exploring local places that bring families together, and this sweet organic farm has quickly become one of our favorites. We’ve visited before for plants, fresh produce, and market finds, but this was our first time attending Storytime—and it was absolutely wonderful.

There’s something special about watching children listen to stories surrounded by nature, slowing down, exploring, and finding joy in simple moments. The beautiful farm setting, welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely kind people made this a morning we’ll remember.

If you’re looking for family-friendly activities, outdoor adventures for kids, nature-based learning, local farms to visit, storytime events, and things to do with kids in Metro Detroit, this is definitely a place worth following.
