Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica and is on track to do severe damage to other parts of the Caribbean as well.
Many areas are without power and have limited internet connectivity, making it difficult to reach people. If you are looking for someone, try these steps:
- Send a text message or email.
- Check their social media accounts for updates.
- Call friends or relatives to see if they've heard from them.
- Try calling during off-peak hours or places they spend time at, like a job, school or senior center.
