This evening, units responded to a traffic collision on SANTA CLARA & CALLE DEL CABOS. The driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. PPD has Santa Clara shut down during the investigation.

Crazy filming going on Tuesday night. They must be using 5 helicopters. Explosions & gun fire can be heard.
FYI, spoke to CPP patrol officer Wednesday eve. It was confirmed a movie shoot that will be going on the next few weeks. She did know all the details. However, will get her hands on a copy of the bulletin. We will share it soon.

Sunday night, a man breaks into a residence on WILLIAM STREET and takes on the family. Police arrive quickly and the bloody man takes on arriving officers. The violent man was detained. It was unclear if the man was on drugs.He was injured when he broke a window at the residence and was taken to the hospital. No officers appeared to be injured.

A man was shot twice in the lower extremitie early Sunday morning. The shooting occured on PARK AVE & PRECIADO ST. It is unclear what led up to the shooting. The victim is cooperating with officers. And his wounds did not appear to be life threatening.

Saturday evening Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a yard fire on NINTH ST just east of RESERVOIR ST. During the initial investigation, a drug lab was located. As of 1030pm, pallets in the yard were still burning.

Friday night Downtown officers attempted to make contact with the driver of the vehicle. However, the driver refused to stop. He entered The City Hall parking lot and had no where to go. He surrendered to officers and was taken into custody. The details what led up to the initial incident were not fully available. Witnesses at the stop stated the incident started at Carnival Night Club. The driver was chasing the victim in her car.
