Pomona Police Department are investigating a traffic collision involving a man on a scooter that occurred Wednesday night on HOLT AVE & LORANNE AVE. Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the man to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, condition unknown. The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with officers.

Early Wednesday morning, Pomona Police Department responded to burglary in progress at a warehouse on SECOND STREET just west of CURRAN PLACE. Officers quickly set up a perimeter around the building and waited for K-9 Officer Rodriquez to arrive. After a team searched the interior of the warehouse, it was called off.
During the final stages of the investigation, the handling officer believed the suspects were still present. Officers responded back out and a second search began. At that time two male suspects were found and taken into custody without incident.

Tuesday night car fire on GRAND AVE east of TOWNE AVE. Los Angeles County Fire Department had the vehicle extinguished quickly. The vehicle was unoccupied.

Just after midnight, officers from Pomona Police Department were involved in a physical altercation with a male at a residence on THIRD STREET just west of HAMILTON BLVD. The male was taken into custody along with two other individuals. The male was checked out by Los Angeles County Fire Department and then transported for further evaluation. No officers appeared to be injured. However, initial reports were multiple officers injured. The male had an outstanding apprehension warrant for his arrest.

Early Monday morning, Pomona Police Department & Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 200 block of CENTER ST for a victim of a stabbing. A male was stabbed in the upper extremities. He was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. A family member was arrested at the scene.

He was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

Early Friday morning, we were staged at the CALTRANS yard at GAREY AVE & 60 FWY when we heard a loud bang. At first, we assumed the vehicle came off the freeway flyover. However, the crash occurred at the intersection of the WB exit. The young male driver appeared disoriented and all he could remember was passing INnOUT. He did not appear to us to be intoxicated. The alleged other vehicle fled the scene either WB 60 Fwy or NB Garey Ave. Hats off to all the good Sams that stopped to help, including a off-duty firefighter from Arizona.

A man was hospitalized at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center after he suffered a gun shot wound early Friday morning. Los Angeles County Fire Department & Pomona Police Department located the victim on the northwest corner of GAREY AVE & MISSION BLVD. It was unclear where the actual shooting occured. A blood trail was found south of Mission Blvd.

Thursday night, a pedestrian was struck on MISSION BLVD west of EAST END AVE. The man was complaining of ankle pain. The driver did not stop.
