We are thrilled to share the announcement of the release of Heavyocity's Oblivion Drums! The Power Station Recording team had the privilege of collaborating closely with on this exceptional sample kit. We poured our passion and expertise into crafting and recording the foundational kick and snare drum sounds that now form the backbone of this library. Heavyocity approached us with a clear vision: to capture the purest, most definitive kick and snare samples—sounds that define our reputation.
We embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, dedicating significant time and creativity to ensure every detail was perfect. Leveraging the world-class collection of drums, microphones, and recording equipment at Power Station Studios, we meticulously recorded a wide spectrum of drum tones, from thunderous kicks to crisp, punchy snares. The result is a versatile and inspiring collection of samples suitable for the most demanding genres or production styles.
We want to extend a huge thank you to our incredible drummer, Ali Nassar, whose energy, skill, and dedication were instrumental throughout the recording sessions. Special appreciation also goes to David Levy—composer extraordinaire—whose artistic vision and expertise played a pivotal role in shaping this library into something truly extraordinary.
