When you have been waiting 9 months to finally see the baby!

As a IVF fertility followed by a high risk pregnancy we got to see more ultrasounds than most. Yet, somehow this baby never wanted to show her face. She constantly had her face to the spine and was either horizontal or breech the whole pregnancy. So, the ultrasound technicians were more concerned about that.

Now, 40 weeks in…. We are about to finally meet this baby! Thank you Nayla for trying to convince her to “get out”.

Tick tock…. 40 weeks in & ready for this baby!

Ask first hospital PRO TIP: if you are sensitive to smells or need a calming scent, bring something with lavender in it for the room. My hospital allowed us to have a scented (we chose vanilla lavender) plug-in. But you can opt for a scented eye mask if the plug in is a no-go.
