Hello my beautiful shipping labels. It’s been a minute I know… quick life update!

So the last two weeks have been a huge roller coaster of not so great times! Some of yall might know some might not but almost a month ago I was diagnosed with MODY (mature onset diabetes of the young) it pulls traits from both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Not but like 5 days after the diagnoses I was admitted into the hospital where they installed “Button” you’ll learn who button is toward further reading. Shortly after release I got the flu. So this is my reasons for being absent even though I don’t have to but I’d rather be honest with yall.

So on to Button, in the picture below is Button, little dude is a cgm (continuous glucose monitor), also known as the useless self destruct button hence button. Button works 24/7 and updates every minute so that my care team can see where I am at anytime they want. Sometimes, button doesn’t wanna stick (ha) cause everyday wear and tear the adhesive part wants to come off. So I have accumulated a list of things to help button stick around. The link will be in the comments. There is also stuff that I enjoy and great ideas if you wanna send me something for my birthday. You don’t have to buy anything but if you do it is always appreciated. If you made it this far I love you all and hope you had a great new years and let’s see what 2024 brings us! 💜
