One year ago my daughter experienced Muppet*Vision 3D for the first and last time 💔
I feel so fortunate that I was able to experience Muppet*Vision 3D on its very last day and to be able to bring my 13 month old along? It’s a day I’ll never forget.
and I took our babies and we kept our expectations SO LOW for the day. “If we can watch the show one more time and eat at Pizzerizzo, we will be happy!”
I’m happy to report that we were able to check off both things! There were so many more special moments from that day though.
On our way into the park, I spotted and we were able to grab a photo with him! I knew he was planning to be at the park that day, but with so many Muppets fans in attendance and two babies to take care of, I really didn’t think I’d have the chance to meet him!
ICYMI: Whitmire took over as Kermit after Jim Henson unexpectedly passed away, and in Muppet*Vision 3D he brought characters like Waldo, Bean Bunny, and Rizzo to life!
My daughter LOVED the show, so I should’ve known she was going to become a mini Muppet fanatic just a few months later with the new Muppet Show Special 🥹 I would love to still have Muppet*Vision (or even a NEW MUPPET SHOW) for her to experience in the parks right now 💔
While eating our lunch in Pizzerizzo, we spotted Jim Henson’s daughter, Heather, and we were able to tell her just how much this attraction meant to us. I cried, obvi 😭
We took a nap break, but came back in the evening to take a few pictures in the area, and I’m so glad I did. Pre-baby, I would’ve been back monthly taking pics and videos each time, but since having my daughter I hadn’t made it back to DHS as much as I’d wanted to. I’m so glad she and I have some pictures in this special courtyard together 💚
Muppet*Vision 3D, I’ll never stop missing you. You were my introduction to the Muppets, you were Jim Henson’s final project, and you were at DHS staple that was enjoyed by all ages for over 3 decades.
