The difference in jump styles is crazy. Sometimes I wonder if it contributes to the bar dropping. I think Raven dropped one bar in competition that caused an NQ. Monty…….oh Monty 🤣🤣

He did it!! We got our first ever Master Series Bye for the UKI US Open 🙌

He came in 2nd overall for 22”. It’s the first time we have ever not E’d both runs in the same weekend and actually only our 2nd and 3rd non-e runs ever. I really hope that means we are moving in the right direction. Now for dog mom to be a little less frantic.

🥈UKI DASH Steeplechase Challenge 22” 2nd place🥈

Monty competed last weekend in the Full Speed Ahead Agility UKI DASH event and made his first ever 2nd place finish podium in the Steeplechase final! He went in placed 2nd from the first 3 rounds and held his spot in the final 😊 The kid saved his best run for last! It was super hot and dog mom got in his way a lot (causing most of his dropped bars), but he saved us in the end with this lovely run. Good boy 🐾

A couple weeks ago Monty got his UKI Beginner International Title!!

I’m super proud of all the progress we’ve made over this last year. Recently making the step up to 22”, consistent contacts, less bars and sometimes a better start line. I’m so happy to have this little Aussie as my partner!

Eight years of adventures, titles, road trips and pure love. Thank you for being my shadow, my teammate, and the dog who started it all. Love you sweet girl 🥳🎂🐾

🎉 New Titles Alert!! 🎉

Apparently retirement was just a suggestion for Raven 😂

I forgot to move her down to 8” after we came off the waitlist, so I figured we’d just run FAST at 20” since I can pick and choose what she does. Well……she marched into the ring, grabbed her OFP title, and then casually picked up her first Excellent FAST Preferred Q for good measure. When they called out masters level, I looked at the judge and said we shouldn’t be here 😂😂

Two runs out of retirement. Two Qs. 🎤

Meanwhile, Montana decided he wanted a title too and earned his MXF title!! 🏅

He put together two beautiful FAST runs this weekend, and the video includes our first ever threadle wrap in a FAST send! We’ve been working this skill hard and while it needs some cleaning up, I’m so glad to see it work!!

Proof happiness has four paws and a shoreline 🐾

Let me just say taking their leashes off at the beach I wasn’t sure what would happen, but luckily only 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞, 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐯𝐢 and Ego Entitled Exquisite would have witnessed the chaos 😂😂 they both did amazing though!!
