Dogwood Music is a music production company, we are not considered a Digital Creator, . We are however forming a Community Event Division. That is producing concerts using the Original Singer Songwriters. We are not a booking agent but we do book our own events.
What's currently in progress?,
( #1) The 1st Annual Dogwood Folk Music Festival
( #2) Family Farmers Aid Benefit Concert.
(3) Children of the (Mississippi Blues Legends Tour) Featuring the Children of Jr Kimbrough, RL Burnside, BB King.
There are a few families that have not yet been contacted for participation. Muddy Waters kids and Rock & Roller Bo Diddley, all children of Mississippi Blues Legedons.
For more into on these events please aek us, we have no problem passing on what's happening. We have no problem answering your inquiries, even tho we are starting to see some copy-cats, but if I inspire you to do something in the music world then that will not take away from us, that enhances us, and thank you. THis project is a Independent effort not related to the city or county of Pontotoc, MS.
Pontotoc Farmers Benefit Concert.
Local Family Farmers need our help with household goods, groceries, paying bills and more.
This project will be intended for the Pontotoc area Family Farmers. that live and farm in the area. We will donate the funds after the expenses are met. Farmers will be able to be qualified to receive funds on a case - by -case basis..
We are in the planning stages. Location is not yet picked and the date is not yet known.
All bands interested in donation there time to this project please let me know ASAP.
We feel a advisory committee or a board of directors would be help full. So we would ask those who feel like they could help out to contact me .

Jeff Todd, the producer for Dogwood Music and event coordinator and booking agent for the Dogwood Folk Music Festival is planning several music events for 2027. In the works are; A Mississippi native ,Children of the Blues Legends. Current names being considered are Shirley King, Robert Kimbrough Sr, Kenny Kimbrough, Dewayne Burnside. This project would be at least a national major market tour.
2nd Project being talked about is a benefit concert for the Mississippi Family Farmers.. Both projects are in the very early stages of planning. Jeff considered the Local area (Pontotoc) Family Farmer a major love in his life.
As you know JT's (Jeff Todd) Slogan is; All Original, All the Time . So all shows will be Original artists only. Cover Bands that can play a 45 min set of All Original Materica will be considered.

PS; There are still spots open for the Dogwood Folk Music Festival.

Producer and event booking agent for Dogwood Music is bringing together two of Mississippi legendary names. Shirley King, the daughter of BBKing and Robert Kimbrough Sr, the son of Jr Kimbrough will team up to spread the blues worldwide.
A planned film and documentary of the entire event is now in talks. We have a lot to talk about over the next few months, so keep checking back for updates.
