In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, and in partnership with Imagine Butte Resource Center, BNWC is accepting applications from Native American artists for an upcoming art exhibition! All mediums welcome, including painting, beadwork, sculpture, digital, photography, and more.

No application fee. Featured artists should identify as Native or have Tribal heritage.

Halloween is tomorrow and every year we remind folks:

✨ Our culture is not a costume.
✨ Our regalia is not a prop.
✨ Our identities are not stereotypes to play dress-up in.

For Indigenous people, this isn’t about “sensitivity.” It’s about safety, dignity, and recognition.

When our culture is mocked or minimized, so are our people. We are not characters from the past. We are living communities fighting to survive and we are still searching for our stolen relatives.

If you want to honor Indigenous culture, amplify our voices, don’t wear our identity. Stand with us in the fight to protect our people.
