Do you remember Chumbawamba?

BMX teaches us to get up after we fall. Nobody likes to crash, but more times than not you can get up and finish. You may be sore or uncomfortable but you are ok.

Check out the new rule changes at USABMX for 2026.

They made some changes to the Lane Transfer System racing which I think will make for some fun racing wherever tracks are running LTS.

Lately I have been talking about how to approach a new track in my Skool Community.

This is the best view you are going to get before ever riding a track no one has ridden.

How would you ride it? What is one tip you would give to your kids or teammates to give them an advantage in this track?

Apparently Skool (this app) is something that can be a great tool for community and learning. I was specifically fed ads about teaching BMX.

From an advertising perspective Skool is very broad in who it appeals to and this ad is very specific in who they are targeting. Which, in this case, is me so I can build a community for BMX racers to grow.

I go back and forth about investing the time into an online community. I see the value in drawing like minded people together around BMX racing and I see the work it requires to make it be successful and have it thrive.

I have 3 tiers I would consider implementing for coaching and training :

1. Free open community for general discussion and sharing wins and tips

2. Have an affordable community zoom call once a week to talk about specific topics and open Q&A

3. Paid One-on-one coaching. Setting goals, creating workout routines and giving you skills to work on.

If you know me you know that I don’t really hold back information and I care about you and I want you to have success on and off the track.

I’m so stoked right now.

This has been a long time coming. Tonight I moved up to expert.

20 wins. There have been some easy ones along the way but achieving this goal was earned.

I feel incredibly supported by my family, friends and my local track Lincoln Park BMX.

Apart from Barry looking like a stud I love seeing how dynamic he is getting over this jump pumping, manualling, and pushing off this backside while peddling out.

For newer riders it usually means learning each of these things individually and then starting put them together.

I have been teaching my riders how to pedal over jumps and get power of the backside of jumps!
