🎬 It’s time for our Annual Bigfoot Short Film Challenge! 🦶🌲

It’s 100% FREE to enter!
Create a Bigfoot short film (10 minutes or less) and submit it for a chance to be screened at multiple festivals.

How to Enter:
🎥 Must be your own original work
📅 Film must have been made within the last year
📩 Simply PM us on social media for submission instructions

Selected films will be screened to live audiences at:
• Boggy Creek Monster Mingle (Fouke, AR)
• Lake Charles Film Festival (Lake Charles, LA)

🏆 One winning film will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced at the Lake Charles Film Festival on October 3, 2026.

🎬 BIGFOOT FILM UPDATE! 🎬
Our Bigfoot short film is now about 80% finished — principal photography is officially wrapped!
I’ve already started working on the first-draft rough cut, and things are coming together nicely.
Wanted to share these behind-the-scenes shots of the Filmsquatch dynamic duo — Kendall “Crazy Cajun” Fontenot and me, Patrick Bennett — making our cameo appearances in the film. 😄
Also, here’s a look at the “Ta-Tai Maudit” himself, the legendary Louisianaa Bigfoot that’s been spotted around the Atchafalaya swamp for decades.
This production has taken us all over Louisiana so far, with scenes filmed in West Monroe, Lake Charles, and Baton Rouge. Our original score will be composed by an amazing artist based in New Orleans.

Working on our Bigfoot short film this weekend in Louisiana. It’s set in the 1970s and is about a legendary creature that inhabits the Atchafalaya Basin area. Beware the Ta-Tai Maudit!
