🎬 It begins! We just shot the first scenes of our Filmsquatch short film “Ta-Tai Maudit.”
It’s a fun cameo scene featuring Patrick and Kendall as two hunters — Cecil & Tommy — who come face to face with the Cajun Bigfoot himself! 🦶🇨🇮

We filmed deep in the swamps of South Louisiana, and it couldn’t have gone better. Huge thanks to Jim Ferguson for letting us use his property, Kaleb Mixon for running camera, and Billy Nab Farris for helping with the clapboard and boom mic. 🙌

It was an awesome shoot — and don’t worry, no Cajuns were harmed in the making of these scenes… except for Kendall. 😂 He did his own stunts and said, “Hold my beer!” before giving it his all. God bless him!

🎉 Congratulations to the cast & crew of "Big Foot", winners of the 2025 Filmsquatch Bigfoot Short Film Challenge! 🏆👣

We had five awesome Bigfoot short films compete in this year’s challenge, all screened before an audience this weekend in Lake Charles, LA at the 14th Annual Lake Charles Film Festival. 🎬

The submitter of "Big Foot" will be receiving a $200 cash prize, a Filmsquatch swag pack, and of course — bragging rights! 💰🎁

We will be screening 5 Bigfoot short films at this year's Lake Charles Film Festival in Southwest Louisiana. Come see Cryptid Crisis, Tiny Boy Adventures: I Saw Bigfoot, In Search of Hawaiian Bigfoot: The Maui Skunk Ape, Big Foot, and The Bogmanifest. It's going to be an awesome event! One of these films will be awarded this year's Filmsquatch award for the 3rd Annual Filmsquatch Bigfoot Short Film Competition. We want to thank all of the filmmakers that submitted a film to our competition this year! Maybe we will see some of you at the festival!
