With the exception of one quick lap on July 27th, I’ve been parked for 89 days. This weekend? The LAST race-free weekend until mid-December—unless Mother Nature throws me another rainout like she did in PA.

The camera in the photo? That’s my old film-day workhorse. She’s long retired from track duty—now just sits on my desk like a grizzled old driver at the bar, telling anyone who’ll listen about the time she “got the shot” three-wide into turn four.

She still likes to chime in once in a while with gems like:
📸 “Back in my day, we didn’t have autofocus—real photographers just squinted harder!”
📸 “If you can’t smell the race fuel through the viewfinder, you’re doing it wrong!”

Alright, enough story time. The gear is tuned up, my shutter finger is warmed up, and I’m ready to go green. Let’s get these wheels rolling! 🏁📸💨
