I just want to apologize to you all for my recent absence. I’m usually not so inactive with posting on my page for long periods of time. I’ve been trying so hard to do better this year with consistent posting and growth. However, as always, real life sometimes invades.
first of all, my 80+ year old Grandma, my last remaining grandparent, visited me&my family for the first time at our new home since we became full-time, for a full week. She hasn’t been in the area since 2019. I actively chose to take this time away from social media in order to spend extra time making many memories with her, from visiting local craft studios together to create beautiful pieces of artwork, going to a local farm’s annual Sunflower & Fluffy Cow Festival&walking the Sunflower Trail, eating out at local restaurants as well as home-making some of her favorite meals together, thrifting, and even attending a local Quilt Show.
secondly, my mental health has also been in choppier waters lately. very high anxiety, experiencing new places, very recent medication dosage changes, on-and-off motivation issues, and lots of unreasonable sadness & depression, all led to me being less active here.
however, yesterday I attended my local community fair. I hope you all don’t mind if there isn’t any SOLELY star wars themed content for a bit while I get back on my feet, but to keep the feed active and satisfied until then, I’ll be posting some pics from events I go to/my daily life, which obviously star wars is always sprinkled in, like my clothing outfits, and if it isn’t star wars themed, it’s galaxy/galactic themed! here’s some pics from the fair&some of the galactic-themed prizes I won, including a trio (family) of alien plushies from the carnival games, in particular one called ‘space invaders’. I also wore my Luke Skywalker themed jersey for the first time ever to show off my fandom, as well as other star wars themed clothing articles&accessories.
