We do personal video biographies of your family’s elders at Thumb Studio.
I see now that other organizations are offering the same service as I am. These Digital Memoir services are at a really high price of $5000 for a ten-minute video! I offer a 30-minute video for $75. WOW!
They do interview the person up to four hours, but edit it way down. The final product is a narrator-based bio that includes only a few minutes of the person actually talking. They do include personal photos, but they also add general stock pictures and video as an enhancement.
I interview my client for 30 plus minutes and output the complete interview, mostly unedited. You get to see the person more and it’s a complete depiction of that person. I also ask them some question before we start to help guide the question and answers. When I include photos and/or video, it starts out being displayed behind them (green screen), with a full view for a few seconds while they are still speaking. I may add some pictures that I find online that help enhance the interview because they are from the time the person is talking about and that person doesn’t have a photo to share.
I hope this comparison will help in deciding that Thumb Studio will create an economical keepsake of your family elder that you and your family will cherish forever. Thank you.

We capture the story of your loved ones by having us video tape an interview of them talking about their life.

Continuing for the next two months, for the base interview time of 30 minutes, the charge is only $75!
That includes the recording of the interview.
Digitizing all photos.
Editing the video to include all photos and any submitted video.
Then transferred to either a DVD or USB Flash Drive.
Presenting to you the final video and returning all photos.

Slight extra charge for:
Extra interview time past 30 minutes (More life stories).
Recording to Blu-ray.
Any additional copies of the interview.
