SENIORS and older can vote TOMORROW from 6am-9pm @ the Village Center
The Current interviewed the candidates, Margot Garant and Barbara Ransome in our latest article (link in bio)
Incumbent
Mayor Garant has held office for 12 years, starting many projects and
has plans for revitalizing Upper Port Jeff. She wishes to "engage and
inspire our children by their participation in local government and
community service!"
Ransome
was deputy mayor under Garant's mother, and Village Trustee before
heading the Chamber of Commerce. She thinks change is vital to keeping
government effective and has plans to expand youth programs, including a
prospective bike park.
