☀️📣 SUMMER HOURS UPDATE 📣☀️

We figured it was time to officially post our summer office hours… mainly so nobody wastes extra gas showing up while we’re out chasing stories, running to meetings, making post office runs, covering events, or participating in the Olympic sport known as “small newspaper staff multitasking.” 😂

The truth is, with a small staff, there are times the office may be temporarily empty even though we’re all very much working. Local news doesn’t exactly happen sitting behind a desk all day.

So these posted hours are the times we can pretty confidently say a real human being should be in the building and not:
📰 covering breaking news
📸 taking photos somewhere in the county
📬 sprinting to the post office
👧 dropping off a child at the next activity
☕ reheating coffee for the third time

Will we still be working outside these hours?
Absolutely. Probably more than we should.

Need us outside office hours? Give us a call! There’s a good chance someone is nearby, back at the office, or can meet you quickly.

Thanks for supporting your hometown newspaper and understanding that community journalism sometimes involves controlled chaos. ❤️🌊
