We decided one day just wasn’t enough. 🩷✏️🍎

After our first Stock the Classroom event here in Volusia County, we had supplies left over and thought… why stop now?!

So we’re keeping it going ALL YEAR LONG! 🙌🏼

Today, Local Connections surprised teachers at 3 Volusia County elementary schools, and our goal is to deliver Stock the Classroom bags to at least 5 local teachers every single week. As our donations grow, we can surprise even more!

And you don’t have to fill an entire basket to make a difference. 💕

Bring ONE pack of sanitizer wipes.
ONE bottle of hand sanitizer.
ONE pack of Expo markers.
ONE ream of copy paper.
ONE box of Kleenex.

These were some of the most needed classroom supplies according to the teachers we polled at our first Stock the Classroom event, but we are happily accepting other school supplies too. If a teacher can use it in their classroom, we’ll find a home for it! 🫶🏼

Because if 100 people in our community donate just ONE thing, that’s 100 things we can put directly into the hands of Volusia County teachers. 🥹🩷
