Song Spotlight: "I Don't Mind At All" 🎶

We’ve been working on some incredible original music here at Dreamlab Recording Studio as part of an ongoing collaboration with the exceptionally talented Jerry Galanti, and our latest release is something truly special.

"I Don't Mind At All" is a beautifully crafted reflection on the passage of time, the quiet grace of growing older, and the enduring, unbreakable love that only deepens within a lifelong marriage. Jerry captured the emotional core of the song brilliantly with his heartfelt vocal delivery and expressive acoustic guitar work, while I rounded out the arrangement with drums, bass, keys, and electric guitar.

Jerry is a staple of the local live music scene around New Port Richey, and you can often find him sharing his gift live at Oasis Coffee Spot.

This retro, disco-style song was composed, arranged, and recorded by Michael Chauncey right here at Dreamlab Recording Studio. It’s a milestone addition to a massive catalog—Captain Ron and Michael have now recorded more than 2,500 original songs together over the years!

The Story Behind the Song: 👻🚗
Back in the early 1970s, Ron drove a classic VW Beetle with Casper the Friendly Ghost painted right on the doors. It turned a lot of heads and brought in considerable attention back in the day! If you ever want to see a piece of that history, the car is currently on display at the VW Showroom in Atlanta.

I woke up this morning thinking about how faith is so different from empirical science. Science requires us to see, hear, taste, touch, and smell to believe. But faith? Faith is a matter of the heart. ❤️

It means trusting God and His Word even when the circumstantial evidence looks completely contrary. No matter what things look like on the surface, God is always true to His promises.
