Who To Watch Out For…

Hailing from the infamous East Side of Detroit (48205) during the 80s & 90s, Brandi James is now making waves in film on the outskirts of the city and beyond.

Fans can look forward to her cameo in two upcoming Mula Films' - part 2 of the comedy Buffed Up and Ms. Netty in the series H-Block, Season 2 . For now, you can catch her as Shauntay in Money Over Boyz and in the TV series Street Legal, just to name a few.

Like many great actors, Brandi dreams of remaking a classic and her pick would be Mommy Dearest, starring Dailani Session as her adopted daughter and Chaz P. Ransburg as her adopted son. Now that’s a remake we’d all be sure to watch!

Off screen, Brandi is all about fun and connection. She loves amusement parks (especially roller coasters ) and thrives on entertaining—whether in film, hosting a dinner, or leading an event, she’s always bringing smiles to the people around her.

Who To Watch For …

Model and actor Kellen Marcus, reppin’ Atlanta, Ga is best known (to me) for bringing Bakari to life in Nina Stakz’s New Year, New Us film. He’s also starred in Quarantine Bae, the TV series Thick Skin, and most recently stepped into the spotlight as Jake in the film South Side Hero.

If given the chance to remake a classic, Kellen says it would definitely be Boyz in the Hood—and he’d bring his boys Demetrius Bridges and Duwop along for the ride.

Two things you may or may not know, Kellen has been a battle rap fan for 15 years and once played Division One men’s rugby.

Kellen is a great blend of talent and toughness that captures audiences.

I've never experienced no controlling man, but then again I've been with my husband damn near 30 years. So these movies are hilarious-ISH to me. I say -ish because these are legit mental issues so it's not funny.
