THE YELLOW WARDROBE IS GROWING 😂

You guys have had plenty to say about my yellow hard hat, so with all this rain today, I figured—why stop there?

I’ve officially added this beautiful yellow poncho, complete with reflective safety stripes, to the wardrobe. Personally, I think it really brings the whole outfit together. 😂

I haven’t posted quite as much these past few days because we brought another superintendent onto the project, and I’ve been helping get him familiar with everything happening across the jobsite. But don’t worry—I’m still here, and I already know the comments are coming.

Let me hear it. How does the new outfit look?

UNDERGROUND FIRE-LINE MATERIALS ARRIVE ON SITE

Another delivery of underground materials has arrived, including fire hydrants and what appears to be part of our underground fire-line system.

Before any of this can be seen above ground, the piping has to be laid out, installed and connected throughout the site. These deliveries are another sign that the underground work is moving forward.

INSTALLING UNDERGROUND SEWER PIPE AND WARNING TAPE

The green pipe you see being installed is part of the underground sewer system.

As the trench is backfilled, green warning tape is placed above the pipe. If someone digs in this area later, they should reach the tape before reaching the sewer line, warning them that a buried pipe is below.

It’s a simple step, but it can prevent expensive damage later.
