Here comes a ramble. Just stick with me because it’ll all make sense. You know how you talk to God one night, and ask, believe, and receive all your desires and goals, and then you wake up the next morning excited and feeling great, ready to be disciplined and do the work that God placed in your heart and mind. And then you use your new magic hair tool and it comes out beautifully, and you drive to your farmers market to get your flowers before heading to a few client appointments, and still day dreaming about your biggest dreams and goals.

You find far but easy parking, and get to the market and things start to turn annoying, but you’re still determined to be disciplined and have a GOOD day. My flower guy isn’t there so instead I pick up some steak and smoked fish dip.

You head back to your truck and womp womp. It won’t start LOL. Thankfully and prayerfully I have AAA and an awesome hubby and both were on the way.

Instead of getting frustrated and angry - I stopped into and I hardly ever have the time to visit and I forget how much I LOVE and I mean LOVVVEEEEE their breakfast. I had almost a zero wait time, and before I knew it my grits bowl was headed towards me and my vanilla iced latte with the dipped rim was hitting just right. You need to visit Sunrise City Cafe because everything and everyone is amazing, and kind, and sweet, and perfect. It’s a neighborhood spot where you always see someone you know. I love it so much 🥹🥹🥹

Anyway, as I sit here waiting for hubby, I’m reflecting on life’s journey and the challenges that’s thrown at you and specially when you’ve just spoken to God about your goals. It’s a test to see if you’re really ready for your goals and dreams to become a reality. Will you be disciplined enough to handle the bumps in the road? How will you react to life’s challenges? Will you give up at the first sign of difficulties — or will you buck up, put your big girl clothes on and take the challenge on HEAD ON!?

Me, I’m going to smile through it, get stronger, eat a little snacky, and find solutions. God, I hear you, I thank you, I’m pushing through. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your day my friends!!

My Real Estate Journey

Jessica Taylor is a Miami native whose passion for real estate ignited at a young age. She officially began her real estate career in 2007 working as an assistant to a top producing team in a marketing and administrative role. In 2009 she worked as a manager of a small Brickell brokerage before obtaining her real estate license in 2011.

Upon graduation with a B.Sc. from the University of Miami in 2011, Jessica worked with a top producing Coral Gables real estate company where she was able to build her portfolio and work with developers on a student housing project, work with pre-construction condos and grew her business in the booming rental market.

From there she began working in a hybrid world of real estate, sports and philanthropy. She had the opportunity to build her network in the sports industry all while gaining business experience. In 2019, she graduated with an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. She is powering into the next level of her career by expanding her business to luxury, sports, entertainment and global clientele.

Jessica believes it’s our duty as Realtors to pay it forward to the community. She is active in the South Florida community volunteering with the Miami Rescue Mission, Honey Shine, and serving on the board of The Mourning Family Foundation’s Young Professionals Network.
