Stunning, 6 months old black roan Lykoi boy with one blue eye and one gold eye. Originally purchased from a breeder outside of our Weirdo Cat Co. with the plan to show and eventually breed, but we’ve had a change in plans and want him to go to a loving pet home where he can just be spoiled and adored.

Bowie is still building confidence with new people, so we’ve decided the show ring/stud life isn’t for him. He will be neutered this week and ready to go right after recovery

✨ Two Special Lykoi Kittens Seeking Their Forever Home ✨

Life has taken these two sweet Lykoi boys on an unexpected journey. They were recently adopted but their mom just passed away very suddenly, and now these boys are once again looking for the loving forever home they deserve. πŸ’”

They are just about 4 months old playful, and full of love. I am arranging for them to return to me here in Michigan, and I can arrange safe transport anywhere to make sure they find the right home.

While we would love for them to stay together, we understand they may need to be separated if that’s what it takes for each to find the right family.

In this delicate situation, their late mom’s spouse understands he may not receive full compensation back, though he could truly use it. To help both him and the kittens we suggest $1800 each making them more affordable so they can transition quickly into a new, stable, and loving home.

If you think you might be the right person or family to give these boys the future their mom had hoped for, please PM me directly so I can coordinate. Out of respect for this sensitive situation, we’d like to handle conversations privately.

If you currently have a kitty from us; Beeblebrox / Faolan / Leviosa, or are on our waiting list or have been considering it, we have some updates to our breeding program.

1. We are excited to announce that our partner catteries will be collaborating under the unified brand of β€œWeirdo Cat Co.” While we operate jointly to promote our shared passion for our unique breeds, each partner retains full autonomy over the litters they raise, which will continue to be registered under their individual cattery names.

We will be transitioning to a new website for Weirdo Cat Co. in a few months which will showcase our partnership, and all kittens will be listed and available for application through this centralized platform.

2. We are extending our HCM/Genetic Guarantee from 3 years to 5 years. This means if your cat passes away due to a genetic or congenital defect before its 5th birthday, we will provide you with a new kitten to help ease the loss. For HCM, a progressive and often silent genetic condition, we require annual echocardiograms performed by a board-certified cardiologist.

3. We are increasing the frequency of HCM screenings (echocardiograms) for Lykoi. Previously scanned every other year, Lykoi will now be screened annually, just like our Sphynx and Donskoy. This change ensures better health monitoring and reflects our commitment to transparency across all our breeds.

4. We are standardizing kitten prices. All Sphynx, Lykoi, and Donskoy kittens, regardless of color or pattern (including odd-eyed), will now be $3000 for new applicants. Those who have already applied or are on our waiting list will maintain the current pricing: $2500 for Lykoi and Donskoy, and $2900 for Sphynx.

5. We are giving a deep discount for adopting kittens in pairs. To support easier transitions to their forever homes, we will now offer $500 off each kitten when adopted together. ❀️ That’s $1000 off a pair of kitties!

6. We will give a $500 discount on single kittens when adopted by families who already have one from us.

7. We will give a $250 referral fee to anyone who refers someone to us (they must tell provide your name at the time of applying) and a $250 discount off the kitten they adopt.

A handful of people have expressed interest in tabby donskoy. I do have one but did not keep good track of who told me to let them know if I had one! (Hence why I ask people to get on my official waiting list!)

Born 5/7 and graduating next month, Luara Twirl is a beautiful lil’ one. And like a few other posts of kitties over the past few days, she was also going to be a keeper for me but I am coming to my senses. I can’t keep all the best ones!

Meet Dorito! He is from the Leviosa Chip Litter and once again, was under cattery evaluation (I was being greedy but am coming to my senses and decided against keeping another DBE male right meow.) He was born 4/29 and graduates early August.

This is the drill:

1) Kittens are first offered to those on our official (with paid deposit) waiting list
2) If not snapped up by someone on the list, they get offered to those in our private FB group
3) After a day or so there, they go up on our website as available.

I have a few people waiting for blue eyes black Lykoi so I will be checking in with them one by one this week. Feel free to DM me if you are one of those waiting or if you want to have dibs on himz should the wait listers decline at this time. (Many people on my list have specific dates of when they will be prepared to bring a kitty home and sometimes the timing doesn’t align.)
